Münster, the 'hot spot' of Westphalia, is where the Britpop-Band Orange is coming from. You might ask how this is possible, 'cause Britpop is associated with big cities like Manchester or Liverpool, but you will see it works! Instead of following the mainstream of popmusic with its bands performing never without striking a pose, Orange created its own music and way of performance. Turning the audience attention to their music is what they want.

Orange are Helge-Paul Traue on vocals and main song writer, Thomas Sorig on lead guitar and backing vocals, Steffen Hartmann on rhythm guitar, Sebastian Kuhlgert on Bass and Marcel Märtens on drums. Founded in 2004, Orange, with their former members, worked for two years in their rehearsal room until they could present their debut album '(Right) Time is always now' recorded at 'Studio Gold' by Thomas Sorig. The released Album contains nine homogeneous tracks of pure Brit 'n roll influenced by bands like The Who, T. Rex, Beatles and Paul Weller as well as one cover-version.

In 2010/11 Orange has visited the studio again to record their second album. The new album sounds more mature, sophisticated and rocking. It surpasses the debut by far and is able to compete with international standards. The release will be by the end of the year.

So, anyone who wants to hear Britpop or Rock will be blown away by Orange!
